DESCRIPTION:Join the ANZ branch of the IAFR for their next webinar “Non-accidental Injury (NAI)” presented by Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH). ‘’ \nIn this webinar Dr Gillian Long and Fiona Franklin will introduce NAI\, injuries suspicious of\nNAI and explain how it is diagnosed at QCH. The imaging pathway\, examination challenges\,\nprotocol and positioning of patients will be explored. Gillian graduated from the University of Southampton and pursued a variety of clinical positions in England including Paediatrics and General Practice before training in Radiology and spending a year as a Paediatric Radiology Fellow at British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.  Gillian has a broad range of interests across many branches of Paediatric Radiology and across all modalities.  \n  \nFiona Franklin Radiographer Advanced Educator – Queensland Children’s Hospital\nFiona has been a radiographer for over 20 years\, studying at Christchurch Institute of Technology\, and working in mostly large public hospitals starting in Dunedin\, New Zealand\, before moving to Sydney\, over to London\, and then back to Brisbane. Fiona has worked in General Radiography and MRI as well as specialising in paediatrics after starting at the Mater Children’s Hospital in 2007\, and then moving to the Queensland Children’s Hospital when it opened in 2014. Since then as well as working in the education team Fiona has developed a passion for staff mental health and wellbeing before moving into the role of radiographer advanced educator in 2022. She is hoping to complete her Research master’s degree by the end of this year\, studying paediatric medical imaging staff mental health and wellbeing.
