SUMMARY:NAI Workshop for Radiographers - Coffs Harbour\, NSW
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this course is to provide further education on the medicolegal aspects of non-accidental injuries (NAI) in paediatrics\, the importance of the radiographic projections required\, tips for positioning and documentation. \nThe course has 2 parts: \n1. An online component is required to be completed at least 48 hours prior to the workshop and will take approximately 2-2.5 hours to complete. The link to the online component will be emailed to you upon registration. Please ensure you give yourself adequate time to complete the theory component\, as you will not be able to attend the practical without completing it! \n2. The practical workshop will be held at the Medical Imaging department in Coffs Harbour Health Campus on Saturday 14th October 2023. Please note the workshop is approximately 1.5 hours long. The workshops will be spaced throughout throughout the day\, starting at 0900.
