DESCRIPTION:ANZ Branch presents:\nClowning to Connection: a Clown Doctor guide to supporting patients during medical procedures\n  \nA PhD study based at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne found that Clown Doctors “have an ability to connect with people quickly and genuinely\, to make people feel heard and understood\, to remove any perceived disparity of power and simply engage as individuals.”\nClown Doctors are serious about their silliness. They are a valuable contributor to a compassionate\, well-functioning health system.
