SUMMARY:SORSA-IAFR 2025 Congress
DESCRIPTION:The Society of Radiographers of South Africa (SORSA) and the International Association of Forensic Radiographers (IAFR) are excited to invite you to the SORSA–IAFR  2025 Congress. This international joint initiative will be hosted from 5-7 September 2025 at the Century City Conference Centre (CCCC) in Cape Town\, South Africa. \nThis congress will cater for all disciplines of radiography\, exposing delegates to the latest technological advances and the most informative and stimulating academic engagements. SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting 2025
DESCRIPTION:The IAFR Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in-person in Cape Town and online via Zoom on September 6th at 13:00 South African time (11:00 UTC). \nThe meeting link and documents have been provided via email to all members – and can be accessed via the newsletter section of the Members Only area of our website (login required). \nResolutions:  \nMembers wishing to submit a resolution to the AGM must give notice in writing\, supported by the signatures of 20 full members of the IAFR\, to the Honorary Secretary by five working days prior to the AGM (September 1st 2025); the Committee shall determine whether such resolutions are valid. \nProxy forms:  \nMembers who are eligible to vote under the current constitution and are unable to attend the meeting may appoint a proxy by completing and returning the proxy form to the Honorary Secretary. Proxy forms must be submitted no later than midday (GMT) September 5th. \nElection:  \nAny Full Member of the IAFR may stand for election to the committee and must be nominated in writing by three Full Members of the IAFR. A statement from the nominee must accompany the nomination expressing their willingness to stand for election. Nominations shall be received by the Honorary Secretary no later than 12:00 UTC on 31st August. The nomination form has been sent to IAFR members via email. \nMembers may be co-opted onto the committee to fill casual vacancies that arise during the committee year\, by simple majority vote of the committee. They will hold office until 30th September and shall be eligible to seek re-election. \nThank you for your continued support of the IAFR. We hope to see you in September!
