SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2019
DESCRIPTION:The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IAFR will be held online at 13:15pm (BST) on Saturday 7 September 2019 via Adobe Connect. Any items for the agenda must be submitted to secretary@iafr.org no later than mid-day (GMT/UTC) on 31 August 2019. \nMembers who are unable to attend electronically may complete a Proxy (attached) which must be submitted to the Hononary Secretary no later than mid-day (GMT/UTC) on 31 August 2019. \nMembers wishing to submit a resolution to the AGM must give notice in writing\, supported by the signatures of 20 full members of the Association\, to the Honorary Secretary no later than mid-day (GMT/UTC) on 31 July 2019.   Emergency resolutions may be submitted up to five working days prior to the AGM; the committee shall determine whether such resolutions are valid.  A copy of the current Constitution is available on the Members’ section of the IAFR website\, as are the draft Minutes from the 2018 AGM. \nThe IAFR would not exist without the voluntary contributions of the Committee members. This year\, there are 6 places vacant on the Committee. Any Full Member of the Association may stand for election to the committee and must be nominated in writing on the attached form by three Full Members of the Association.  A statement from the nominee must accompany the nomination expressing their willingness to stand for election.
