Service of Northern Ireland.\u00a0 He has over 15 years of experience in the Body Recovery Team and holds a PgC\u00a0in Disaster Victim Identification from the University of Dundee.\u00a0 In his role he has co-ordinated a wide range of body recovery responses and assisted in the development of the Northern Ireland Mass Fatality Plan<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the event of a Mass Fatality Incident, Police Officers act as agents of the Coroner in addition to their\u00a0statutory duties under the Police Act.\u00a0 The role of the Police, and the manner in which it is carried out is not just a vital part of the investigative process but is critical to the experience (and grief pathway) for those who have been bereaved.\u00a0 This webinar will consider the historical development of the Disaster Victim Identification process,\u00a0the practicalities of effective delivery and the importance of collaborative working between specialists.\u00a0 It will also make reference to the consequences for responders of being involved in this work and how we manage their\u00a0impacts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registration for is free for
