The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the\u00a0IAFR will be held online at 13:15pm (BST) on Saturday 7 September 2019<\/strong> via Adobe Connect. Any items for the agenda must be submitted to\u00a0secretary@iafr.org<\/a>\u00a0no later than mid-day (GMT\/UTC) on 31 August 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Members who are unable to attend electronically may complete a Proxy (attached) which must be submitted to the\u00a0Hononary Secretary<\/a>\u00a0no later than mid-day (GMT\/UTC) on 31 August 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Members wishing to submit a resolution to the AGM must give notice in writing, supported by the signatures of 20 full members of the Association, to the\u00a0Honorary Secretary<\/a>\u00a0no later than mid-day (GMT\/UTC) on 31 July 2019. \u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Emergency resolutions may be submitted up to five working days prior to the AGM; the committee shall determine whether such resolutions are valid. \u00a0A copy of the current Constitution is available on the Members’ section of the IAFR\u00a0website<\/a>, as are the draft Minutes from the 2018 AGM.<\/p>\n

The IAFR would not exist without the voluntary contributions of the Committee members. This year, there are 6 places vacant on the Committee. Any Full Member of the Association may stand for election to the committee and must be nominated in writing on the attached form by three Full Members of the Association. \u00a0A statement from the nominee must accompany the nomination expressing their willingness to stand for election. Nominations shall be received by the\u00a0Honorary\u00a0Secretary\u00a0no later than mid-day (GMT\/UTC) on 31 August 2019<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
