This talk will discuss the history of dual energy CT and the physical principles governing dual energy CT imaging. Vendor approaches to accomplishing dual energy imaging, radiation doses,
\nand post-processing techniques will be reviewed. Finally, case examples will be shown demonstrating the clinical features and utility of the DECT images.<\/div>\n

Rebecca Lamoureux conducted her PhD research in computed tomography dosimetry. She now works as an Assistant Professor and a Diagnostic Medical Physicist specializing in computed tomography at the University of New Mexico.<\/div>\n
