Aim: To outline multiagency major incident response and gain an insight into psychological experiences during an incident.

Programme to include:

  • Paramedic triage and prioritisation of a patient at the scene of a major incident. Adam Davis, Senior Lecturer, Paramedic Science, KU & Sgul.
  • The personal experiences of a Hijack Hostage survivor Mike Thexton, Author of ‘What happened to the Hippy man’.
  • Role of Imaging in victim identification.
    Jacquie Vallis, Principle Lecturer, Teeside University & IAFR committee member.
  • Psychological impact of major incidents.
    James Tapp, Lecturer, Forensic Psychology, Kingston University.
