Webinar: Dual Energy CT Basics, Approaches, and Abdominal Applications

This talk will discuss the history of dual energy CT and the physical principles governing dual energy CT imaging. Vendor approaches to accomplishing dual energy imaging, radiation doses,
and post-processing techniques will be reviewed. Finally, case examples will be shown demonstrating the clinical features and utility of the DECT images.

Rebecca Lamoureux conducted her PhD research in computed tomography dosimetry. She now works as an Assistant Professor and a Diagnostic Medical Physicist specializing in computed tomography at the University of New Mexico.
